Full of character and charm, this 18th century country house was built in 1777 for the Famed Agriculturalist, Arthur Young, by the Earl of Kingston. It is situated on the edge of Mitchelstown (a vibrant country town). It is a family home and its newly-refurbished courtyard is home to exceptional guestrooms and private relaxation area and now available for bookings. Surrounded by the famous Ballyhoura Country, an area which borders of counties Tipperary, Limerick and Cork, with fabulous green pastures, woodlands, hills and the wonderful Galtee Mountains, Ballinwillin House and its eighty acres of prime farmland, is perfectly positioned to explore the ancient and unspoilt landscape at its heart with its abundance of significant heritage sites and thrilling outdoor activities.
