Mountain Lodge is an An Oige Hostel located in Glengarra Woods on the foothills of the Galty mountains. The Lodge is a beautiful circular former shooting lodge owned by Lady Beatrice Pole Carew and Lady Constance Butler. The hostel is unique in being a gas lit hostel. The hostel has 2 six bed dorms and 1 twelve bed down.

 The hostel is located in Glengarra Woods close to mitchelstown and the ballyhoura area with its many heritage attractions and outdoor activities including hiking, mountian biking, shooting, equestrian, paragliding and angling. The hostel is signposted half-way between Cahir and Mitchelstown on the N8.
